Saving Money and Loving Life

Hi! My name is Kimberly, and this is my very first blog post devoted to tips on living cheaply while still enjoying a rich life. As a busy wife and mom of three, I am always looking for ways to make and save more money.

During the day, I’m a full-time school librarian. If you don’t know by now, teachers don’t make enough money. And school librarians make the same salary classroom teachers make. So that means I’m not exactly rolling in money right now.

So in order to improve my family’s lot in life, I’m embarking on a journey of discovery. A journey to discover how much money I can save and make to pay off those scary student loans, improve my family’s standard of living and help my children learn, grow and have fun without getting bankrupt in the process.

In this blog, I’ll share information and tips about making and saving money so I can help you do the same. I’ll talk about deals I find online, free or nearly free activities you and your kids can enjoy and potential side hustles that might strike your fantasy.

Speaking of side hustles, freelance writing is mine. I write web content for various companies. Feel free to stop by my content writing website located at contentbykimberly.com. While there, check out my writing portfolio so you can see some samples of my work.

And this isn’t my only blog either. I have a blog completely devoted to exercise bikes in hopes that it will inspire me to jump on my stationary bike and pedal away some pounds. Check it out at goingnowherefastonanexercisebike.com. Yes, I know it’s a super-long domain name, but I’m new at this blogging thing and it’s kind of too late to shorten it now. Anyway, I think it’s kind of catchy.

Happy Saving!
